Before I can go any further I need to tell u this cars story. This One of 2000 Daytona Pace Cars was a survivor of Hurricane Katrina back in 2005. The man that my dad and i bought it from had the car since then, he had never been able to start it. When the car finally became mine, my father, grandfather, and i took a good look at it. Heres the damage report:
Engine
-All but 2 cylinders were rusted
-Where the throttle body and supercharger met was a bunch of salt
-Engine Harness was bad
Interior
-Completely disassembled
-Interior Harness was bad
So we proceeded to swap out the engine and wiring harnesses from my wrecked 99 gtp into this one. This process was long and hard but we managed to get the thing running and its great. And with only 44,000 miles on the odometer.
