This is my 79'Trans Am. It is very stock appearing on the outside but has a beefy drivetrain out of a 74.Mods include : 455 Pontiac short block bored .30 over to 462 Cu IN.,TRW forged pistons, RAIV cam with .527/.527 lift, 1.65:1 Harland Sharp rockers, KRE aluminum D-port heads, Performer RPM intake, BIGGS performance Edlebrock carb.The car runs 12.80@104Mph in the Quarter mile. I really don't want any more as it is still streetable and i do drive it all over in the summer season.It has been a ongoing project for over 20 years and we have alot of fun with it.My seventeen year old son named the car when he was four. I gave him a ride and he said" Dad this car is white as a ghost and it's so fast it's cweepy".now we are going to beef up his 84'Trans AM.
