1968 Firebird 400 Convertible, PHS Documented. Second owner formally from California now residing in Michigan. Purchased from photos and confirmation of matching numbers on motor, trans and other related components, we knew the car had issues but thought it was our diamond in the rough. Until the car showed up we just did not know how rough it was, after all Califrnia cars were supposed to be good cars. sitting on the coast of California its whole life really did a lot of damage. In October of 2004 off to the restoration shop it went and underwent a full ground-up restoration,a majority of the sheet metal was replaced using as much NOS as possible. The magnitude to which the car was dimantled was a shock to me, I never thought it would come back together again. Give credit where credit is due, individuals that know and understand a restoration at this level are pure artists! October 2006 the car came home totally refreshed in every aspect and painted Black Cherry Pearl. I drive it every chace I can get and even have taken it on the Hot Rod Power Tour in 2007. The car has been bestowed many awards and best part is its not a trailer queen!!!
