I'm a Soldier in the US Army Reserves and I've been transforming my 1977 Formula Firebird into a rolling 9/11 Memorial/Honor car. It's listed at www,cardomain.com under "Freedom Firebird Project." The car is far from complete but I'm still pluggin' away at it. The design features the fallen Twin Towers on the twin hood scoops with the Pentagon behind them. To honor the Shanksville,PA/Flight 93 crash, I'm putting "LET'S ROLL!" on the rear spoiler. Upon completion, I plan to drive it cross country from Denver,CO to the 3 Hallow Ground sites from the 9/11 tragedies. This is real folks and I've been working on it since 2002. If I can post the pics correctly, the red,white, and blue Firebird is the scale model prototype I painted by hand after settling on the design.
