Well she's a project car, want to make her an LT1-LS1 destroyer if I can.  Looks like a mess right now but the car is slowly getting there, better to do things slow and do them right! Its a 1970 Base Model Firebird with the standard Pontiac 350 along with a 3 speed auto transmission. Only things done to it: Pontiac 4 barrel intake and Edelbrock Carb, Hi-Po Camshaft, Snowflake wheels off of an 80's Firebird, Flo-Pro performance dual exhaust, and  began restoration! Guessing has between high 200 to 300 HP, really don't know due to the motor running poorly, it is in need of a rebuild!

*UPDATE* 5/14/08: The motor is currently out of the car and in the machine shop.  Its getting a .20 bore over (there was no need to go .30), a cam w/ 467 lift (Class B), good set of pistons (forgot the brand but there not forged though but supposedly they raise compression a little *** the #62 heads are being put on to raise hp and compression. Should be having pics up of the cleaned engine compartment and a newly rebuilt engine to put in soon!
*UPDATE* 5/22/08: Got the motor back and it sure is pretty! Had to go .40 over on the bore but the #62 heads are on the motor along with a mild cam. Should be putting it back into the car next few weeks

You're on the same path I took with my '72- started with all of the bolt-ons, those really wake up a stock 350. The 350 can make some power, but what will really rip is a 400 or 455- the cool thing now is you can get forged rods for about $250! Build up a nice 450-hp 406 and the next thing you'll change out is your trans (blew out a couple of TH350s before I went to a 4-speed).

David, looks like a good start for a project, reasonably straight and solid, cool ram air hood. I like the gold, and the later snowflakes will look good too. Welcome to the 'Bird family!
